Fixing Flats 101, Wednesday Nov. 11, 7:30-9pm
Quad Bikes, 51 Shepard St, Cambridge
This class, run in partnership with Femmechanics, is primarily for femme, trans, and/or women (FTW) cyclists who are interested in learning some basics about their bikes. We’ll do an overview about how the different parts of bikes work, demonstrate how to change a flat, and have time for you to do some hands-on practice. After that, we’ll do a little open shop time*, so feel free to bring your bike by and we’ll do our best to help everyone. Skill sharing is encouraged!
The class will run on a sliding scale, from $0-$15, with proceeds going to pay for the Quad Bikes mechanics staffing the class. If you’re interested in attending, please sign up by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. First come, first served, and the class will be limited to 15 people.
*Shop time will be included in the class, but you’ll have to buy any parts you need.
